Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has released recruitment notification for 2700 BSNL Junior Engineers (JE) vacancies. BSNL will be conduct online examination for JE recruitment 2016-17 in various BSNL circles in India. Interested candidates can apply online from 10^th July to 10^th August 2016. Junior Engineer required qualification is minimum 03 Years Engineering Diploma / Engineering Graduate (B.Tech / B.E. in any of the following disciplines like – Engineering diploma in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering,  Electrical Engineering, Radio, Computer,  Instrumentation and  Information Technology etc. from a Central government or State Government or recognized Institution [OR]

(2) B.Sc. (Electronics),  B.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognized University or Institute [OR]

(3) Post Graduate M.Sc. in Electronics from a recognized University.

How to Apply Online for BSNL JE Vacancy:

Interested candidates applying for BSNL JE posts are required to apply online for which link shall be provided through BSNL web site that is www.externalexam.bsnl.co.in. Applications will be considered only through the online registration process which is to start from 10^th July 2016 and will be closed on 10^th August 2016. Therefore, candidates are advised to visit official website www.bsnl.co.in for any updates regarding BSNL JE examination. All candidates applying for Junior Engineer (JE) posts are required to read all instructions provided on BSNL website before filling the online application form. Candidates will have to provide valid email ID and mobile number at the time of online registration.

BSNL JE Examination Syllabus:

The BSNL JE exam will be mode of selection is through an All India Online Competitive Examination. The BSNL JE examination will consist of a single paper of three hours duration having objective type multiple choice questions, which is to be conducted through online examination mode. The BSNL circle wise merit list of the candidates, who have secured minimum qualifying marks, is mentioned at the BSNL official notification. The pattern of question paper will be multiple choice objective types with negative marking. All candidates will undergo a common multiple choice type examination of three hours dictation consisting of the following three parts.

BSNL JE Job Selection Procedure or Qualifying Standards:

The minimum qualifying marks for each of the above three parts of the question paper will be 30 percent for candidates belonging to OC category and 20% for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC category. Further, the minimum qualifying marks in aggregate will be 40% for candidates belonging to OC category and 33% for candidate belonging to SC/ST and OBC category. Candidates obtain less than minimum qualifying marks in any of the three parts as well as in aggregate shall not be considered for inclusion in the merit list. BSNL reserves the right to change the number of vacancies of JE as per circles requirement.

Application Fee:

The prescribed examination fee for BSNL JE recruitment is Rs 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) for OC/OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) for SC and ST Candidates shall be paid through online mode i.e. Internet Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card only. The amount of the fee shall not be accepted in any other form. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can be held in reserve for any other examination or selection or otherwise. Hence, the candidates are requested to ensure their eligibility for this direct recruitment of BSNL JE examination before applying for the same.
